I think some of the entrants did not read the rules posted concerning scratches. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE FOR THIS YEAR'S POOL. I plan on having this contest next year, but with a cash entry...of course, all monies collected would be paid out. This is a head-to-head matchup pool using a Confidence scoring system. Your Entry Sheet requires your First & Last Name and email address. Your selections will be published on this website. Your email address will not appear on this website.

TOURNAMENT RULES

Entry deadline is Saturday, May 1, at 10am CST. ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON PLEASE. Your email address is required but will not be published with your picks. You must select the winner of each matchup, and then you must rank all matchups. This is known as a Confidence Pool...on your most confident matchup you will want to rank as a 10, the next most confident matchup will be a 9 and so on. For every winning matchup you predict you will receive the score ranking for that matchup. Add up of the rankings points for all the matchups correctly chosen and you have your final score In case of a tie, the player who ranks the actual winning Derby horse the highest will be the winner. A dead heat (tie) is a considered a loss as is a matchup with a scratched horse. Please note...I will be entering my own contest.
